How much does it cost to set a price alert?
Nothing. Creating an account and setting unlimited price and percentage alerts on GetKoinology is completely free.
What's the difference between a price alert and a percent alert?
A price alert fires at an exact dollar value you choose, e.g. 'Bitcoin above $75,000'. A percent alert fires when a coin moves a percentage away from its price when you created the alert, e.g. 'alert me if Ethereum drops 5%' — useful when you don't have an exact number in mind.
Will I get notified more than once for the same alert?
No. Once an alert triggers, it's marked as triggered and won't fire again. If you want to watch for another move, just edit the alert — saving it reactivates it.
How often are prices checked?
A background job checks all active alerts against live market prices on a regular schedule, so you're notified shortly after your condition is met.
Do I need to install anything to get alerts?
No app required. Alerts are delivered by email automatically, and you can optionally enable browser push notifications for instant alerts on your device or connect Discord and Telegram to get them in your server or chat.
